Dear Donors and Patrons,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. Many youngsters had the opportunity to serve at ABC schools as interns across Tamil Nadu during the break. The experiences they gained are invaluable to both them and us. From coaching children in Math/Science to helping them enhance their English skills to helping them get better at technology, each intern made a difference in their own unique way. Congratulations to all the interns!
With the new academic year underway, ABC projects have resumed and continue to grow. Your support is crucial in helping slow learners catch up with their peers. we have added three new schools to our growing list of ABC schools and we hope to add more in the future.
Post-convention activities are currently underway. Several volunteers are diligently collecting pledges and consolidating expenses. Once all pledges are collected and expenses are paid, we will conduct an internal audit of the accounts, followed by an external audit. We aim to publish the account details once the audits are completed within six months.
Volunteers are essential to the success of any event, and TNF50 was no exception. A dedicated team of volunteers worked tirelessly for months to create a memorable occasion that we will cherish for years to come. We owe them our deepest gratitude for their selfless service and for taking time away from their personal lives for this cause. Please join us on August 17th for our TNF50 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner (flyer below) to honor and celebrate their efforts.
A few days ago, Wayanad in Kerala experienced a devastating natural disaster in the form of landslides that affected many lives. Are you a high schooler in South FL?
|
TNF Youth LOVES group members have been making a great impact across many chapters in USA. In addition to volunteering at and driving chapter activities, they give back to their local communities. The projects they undertake give them an opportunity to learn/practice leadership skills and serve the community. These efforts turn into volunteering hours qualifying many of our youngsters to receive the prestigious Presidential Volunteer Service Award.
TNF Youth LOVES initiative is ready to spread its wings in the sunshine state of Florida. If your child is a high schooler or you know someone who is, ask them to register and be part of a group that loves to make a difference. Register: https://tinyurl.com/sftnf
