Dear Donors and Patrons,
I hope this message finds you well. As we enter the giving season, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your ongoing support. I invite you to consider making your year-end contributions to a cause we all hold dear. Together, we are lighting the lamp of education for thousands of underprivileged individuals, paving the way for a brighter tomorrow for all.
This year has been truly special as we celebrated 50 remarkable years of our mission. Just a few weeks ago, I had the privilege of attending The Global Economic Summit 2024 and the 11th World Tamils Economic Conference in Kuala Lumpur, where, alongside Siva Moopanar, our TNF50 Convention coordinator, I had the honor of receiving the prestigious Crown Jewel of World Tamils – Institutional Award on behalf of Tamil Nadu Foundation. This award, presented to us in recognition of our contributions to economic and educational development in Tamil Nadu over the last five decades, underscores the impact we’ve made together. I am proud to share that TNF is the first recipient of this esteemed recognition, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Madras Development Society and the World Tamils Economic Foundation for this honor.
As we head into December, there’s much more to look forward to. Many of our chapters will be hosting fundraising events, and I strongly encourage you to participate. Additionally, we’ll be hosting our annual year-end online event (details below) to celebrate and thank all of you for your unwavering support. It’s also a chance for us to show appreciation for our dedicated volunteers. If you plan to host a watch party, please let me know, and I’ll make sure you’re acknowledged during the broadcast.
On December 6th, TNF Chennai will be hosting its annual conference, an opportunity for us to recognize and honor the tireless efforts of our coordinators and teachers who are the backbone of our success. If you're in India, please join us for this special occasion, and feel free to share the event details with your contacts in Tamil Nadu.
Wishing you a joyful and healthy holiday season! Thank you once again for your continued support, which empowers our board members, chapter committees, and volunteers to make a difference.
Warm regards,
Veera Venugopal
President, TNF USA
