President's Remarks: TNF Convention – Detroit 2026: Revving Up for Impact

Detroit — the Motor City. The engines are warmed up, revved, and ready to take off. But for this journey to truly begin — we need the seats filled. Our convention is not just a gathering; it is where purpose turns into impact — where ideas become commitments and opportunity for those who need it most.

Every registration and donation today directly helps us plan better—hotel, food, logistics, and the overall experience—while maximizing what we can ultimately deliver to our beneficiaries. Waiting until the last-minute limits what we can do. Acting now expands what we can achieve.

A Personal Request:

Many of you reading this have supported TNF in the past. Some of you are planning to attend. Some are still deciding. If there is one message I want to leave you with this month, it is this:

Please register or donate now. Not later. Not when schedules settle. Not when reminders come again. Now. Your early commitment is what gives this convention its strength and momentum.

Your commitment builds momentum, strengthens planning, and fuels the mission. Detroit is ready. The engines are ready. Let us fill the seats and drive this impact—together.

Austin walkers make feet happy

The TNF Austin Chapter recently launched its Happy Feet – Buddy Walk Program, a vibrant initiative promoting inclusion and community. Designed for children ages 8–17 with special needs, the program pairs each participant with a high school “buddy” for a 1-mile walk/run.

The inaugural event brought together 8 children and dedicated volunteers, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with encouragement, connection, and friendship.

Held every Saturday at 8:30 AM at Brushy Creek Lake Park, Happy Feet welcomes new participants and volunteers to be part of this inspiring journey.
